The 2009 Vermont Food Industry Convention & Expo will be held September 11-13 at the Miller Centre at the Champlain Valley Exposition and the Sheraton Burlington Hotel.

2008 Highlights

Vermont Grocers Food Industry Convention & Expo
September 26-28, 2008

Nearly 1500 retailers, restaurants and suppliers registered for the annual meeting of the Vermont Grocers Association, which was held at the Sheraton Burlington and the Miller Centre South Expo at the Champlain Valley Exposition, for "Autumnfest." Weekend activities included a trade show, golf outing, workshops, and several banquets and networking functions.

 

 

The Bud vs. Bud Light "Ryder Cup" was enjoyed by all at the opening golf outing.

Vermont Roots and various specialty food producers were front and center at the expo.

Amber Jaro of Lantman's, Hinesburg, won the Vermont Best Bagger competition at the expo.

Once again the folks from Creed Ice dressed for the convention theme.

Co-chairs Brian Busier and Joe Cafarelli get ready to open the expo hall.

The Jiffy Mart kids center was a popular spot.

The Green Mountain Cloggers performed at the expo on stage.

Fiddlers Duncan Yandell and Hannah Crary entertained at the show.
